Grupo García Villarreal is a company with over 25 years of experience in the construction sector in the north of Mexico. With a unique challenge of separating its two main business units - concrete and asphalt -, its executive team reached out to us to develop a strategic brand architecture for the group.

Our strategic team defined an endorsed structure for the company’s brand architecture, allowing our creative and design team to create two new identities for each business unit.

In a collaborative process with the company’s team, our design team developed Concrétus, a brand concept derived from the word concrete. To reflect the known structure of concrete buildings, our team designed a unique and versatile isotype that represents the letter “C”. 

Through a lean and intuitive design, our development team launched the brand’s website to boost its positioning in the market.
